A special event is coming to Winchester to make healthcare the best it can be in your community. It's the product of a partnership between AirCare 4 and Valley Health System.

PHI Air Medical announced a major community-wide effort to educate the community and raise awareness for heart disease, especially as it relates to women’s heart issues.

Children's Medical Center is growing their fleet of aircraft. On Thursday, the hospital is adding a new helicopter to their fleet, bringing the total number of choppers to two. The $14 million chopper is a Sikorsky S-76 C++, a twin-engine helicopter that offers a greater range and higher speed than smaller medical helicopters.

On Friday, September 16, PHI Air Medical announced the company's plans to further expansion of the PHI Cares membership program across more of Kentucky.
