PHI Air Medical Group

PHI Air Medical Group was established as a business unit of PHI, Inc. in 1981 and has grown from one medically equipped helicopter to more than 70 aircraft. The Air Medical Group fleet consists of proven aircraft outfitted with medical interiors conducive to providing sustained emergent care for air medical transports.

Most PHI Air Medical programs operate at or above Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) standards. Our pilots and mechanics undergo rigorous and regular training to prepare them for EMS responsibilities, and each base utilizes flight nurse/paramedic or flight nurse/respiratory therapist teams that are specially qualified for emergency transportation.

PHI Air Medical also provides specialty services and crews in many locations for cardiac (including intra-aortic balloon pump), high-risk maternal, and high-risk neonatal patients.
